MANU GARBA SNUBS NFF ON NIGERIA U17 COACHING JOB
The Ex-Golden Eaglets Coach Who Lead The Nigeria U17 National Team to her forth U17 World Cup Glory in 2013 has rejected NFF's U17 Coaching Job Offer.
Coach Manu Garba, who has won the U17 World Cup as a player and as a Coach for Nigeria, is reliably reported to have rejected offers from the Nigeria Football Federation to coach the Nigeria U17 national team.
Reasonably, the former flying Eagles Coach who could not go beyond the round of 16 at the last U20 World Cup for Nigeria, must have snubbed the offers due to the fact that the U20 coaching job has been withdrawn from him at the expense of Emmanuel Amunike, who was successful at the recent U17 World Cup in Chile. Manu Garba, perhabs, sees that as a demotion.
Confirming the rejection, NFF related that, "We'd earlier settled for Manu Garba to coach the Golden Eaglets, but he rejected the offer,"
NFF further explained, "That was the reason why we were silent over who will take charge of the [Nigeria U17] team in the communique,".
Nevertheless, the Nigeria Football Federation are in a serious search against time to get a befitting Manager for the U17 National Team.
