CHNAGE OF PLAN! MANU GARBA NAMED NIGERIA U17 COACH



MANU GARBA RE-APPOINTED AS THE NEW HANDLER OF THE NIGERIA U17 TEAM

The Nigeria Football Federation has named the Ex-Flying Eagles coach as the Manager of the reigning U17 World Cup champions on today.

With the promotion of Emmanuel Amunike to handle the National U20 Team 'Flying Eagles', Coach Mnau Garba has been appointed the Manager of the National U17 Team side despite the fact that his team could not progress beyond the round of 16 at the just concluded U20 World Cup in New Zealand last year.
Manu Garba who lead Nigeria U17 Team to their forth U17 World Cup glory in the United Arab Emirates in 2013  said, "I am ready to serve my country in any capacity if given the opportunity to do so,".
The Nigeria Football Federation announced his appointment in a statement today after the promotion of the former Golden Eaglets coach Emmanuel Amuneke to the Flying Eagles. 
However he will be assisted by Atuni Ali and Ernest Teigpanyo.
Garba was drafted to lead the Golden Eaglets after he failed to see the Flying Eagles beyond the round of 16 at the Fifa U20 World Cup in New Zealand last year.
Bsides his first match as the new U17 Coach will start when the Nigeria U17 Team drag with Menas of Niger Republic in April.
